Primary Responsibility:

Coordinates the movement of materials and finished products throughout the facility to support production and ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time. Serves as a key communication link between Production, Sales/Customer Service, Shipping, Receiving, and other departments to support efficient material flow and on-time delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily logistics activities to support production requirements and customer delivery commitments.
• Coordinate shipments and deliveries with carriers, customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and logistics documentation.
• Monitor shipment status and communicate delays or issues to the appropriate departments.
• Moves product to work station, shipping or staging by manually lifting and carrying and/or using conveyors, carts and hoists.
• Packages products based on type, work instructions and customer instructions.
• Ships product using appropriate computer station.
• Prepares skids for truck shipments.
• Load local courier vehicles and trucks by manually lifting or using fork lift when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform 6S on a daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Must be detail oriented and have a high concern for accuracy.
• Must have strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with Production, Sales/Customer Service, Shipping, Receiving, Purchasing, and other departments.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, transportation, and logistics processes preferred.
• Must have good attendance.
• Must have good computer skills and familiarity with online shipping platforms

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, manufacturing, transportation, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience with ERP, inventory, shipping, or transportation management systems preferred.
• Two or more years of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand and walk while working for extended periods.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
