Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator for one of our clients in Brunswick, OH. This role supports inbound and outbound logistics daily operations, and we want someone who can coordinate shipments, communicate with carriers, and provide great logistics customer service.

You’ll support a wide range of logistics needs across business units, including scheduling inbound shipments and services, coordinating LTL freight for orders, and helping resolve shipping exceptions to keep everything moving smoothly.

Hours
  • 1st Shift
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Shift hours:07:30am – 4:30pm

Pay
  • $18.50+ per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments (manage dock schedule)
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound services related to client purchasing activities
  • Coordinate and schedule LTL freight shipments for all orders
  • Gather shipment requirements (delivery dates, special instructions, etc.)
  • Prepare freight quotes and obtain approval for carriers
  • Support parcel and freight quoting processes
  • Use carrier software to quote and schedule shipments
  • Communicate with carriers regarding service levels
  • Handle carrier damage and shipping claims
  • Respond to and resolve shipping exceptions

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in a production environment supporting inbound/outbound logistics
  • Experience working with parcel and LTL carriers
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of systems and processes
  • Ability to solve intermediate problems
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
