SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a large, well-known client in Carol Stream, IL. As a skilled Logistics Coordinator you will perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. Responsibilities include keeping financial records up to date, preparing reports, processing debits and credits, and reconciling bank statements. Our ideal candidate will also be familiar with running accounting software programs (e.g. SAP) to process business transactions.
A strong work history with accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts is a must. Successful applicants should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a general aptitude for numbers Ultimately, we are seeking someone who will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions consistently run accurately and effectively.

Available shifts include 6:30a-3:00p.
Logistics Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities• Freight Booking: Schedule and quote LTL, FTL, and 3PL shipments.
• Customer Support: Act as the main contact for client shipping updates and tracking.
• Data Entry: Log orders, track metrics, and manage Bills of Lading (BOL) in the ERP.
• Problem Solving: Resolve carrier delays, missed delivery windows, or freight damage.
• Paperwork: Maintain accurate shipping manifests and compliance documents.
Logistics Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications• Experience: 2+ years in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution logistics.
• Shipping Skills: Proven experience setting up LTL, truckload, and third-party freight.
• Client Care: Background in B2B or retail customer service and problem resolution.
• Tech Savvy: Hands-on experience with ERP software and carrier web portals.
• Pace: Ability to multi-task accurately under tight daily deadlines.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
