Logistics Coordinator

Summary / Objective

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating order flow, logistics execution, and EDI-driven transactions to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment to customers. This role serves as a key link between Order Processing, Warehouse Operations, Logistics Providers, and Customers.

Essential Functions

• Manage daily customer orders from entry through shipment and invoicing.
• Monitor EDI transactions including purchase orders, order acknowledgments, ASNs, and invoices.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and logistics providers.
• Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and completed on time.
• Communicate order exceptions, shortages, or delays to internal teams and customers.
• Work closely with Warehouse Operations to prioritize picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Maintain accurate data within ERP, WMS, and EDI systems.
• Support compliance with customer routing guides and shipping requirements.
• Assist with returns, refusals, and re-delivery coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 3 years of experience in logistics, order processing, or supply chain coordination.
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to EDI transactions preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment

This position operates in both an office and warehouse environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
