Logistics CoordinatorLHH Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team on a contract to hire basis in Chandler, AZ. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight across various transportation modes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations and the ability to determine the most cost-effective and timely shipping methods for our customers.Key Responsibilities* Coordinate and manage daily freight shipments across multiple transportation modes including LTL, FTL, Cartage, Air (commercial and passenger), Flatbed, Parcel, and Dedicated truck.* Analyze customer requirements and determine the best method of shipment based on cost, urgency, and cargo specifications.* Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.* Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and stakeholders.* Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.* Resolve transportation issues and delays with a focus on customer satisfaction.* Maintain accurate records in logistics management systems and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.Requirements* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator in a freight forwarding or 3PL environment.* Proven ability to assess and select appropriate shipping methods across diverse transportation options.* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.* Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hourSearch managed by: Chris CollinsBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
