Responsibilities

• Coordinate international ocean freight shipments from origin to destination.
• Schedule cargo pickups and deliveries with trucking companies and ocean carriers.
• Prepare and process Bills of Lading (B/L), commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.
• Monitor import and export shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, steamship lines, and overseas agents.
• Track containers and provide shipment status updates.
• Resolve shipping delays, documentation issues, and logistics challenges.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and data entry.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company procedures.
• Support supply chain operations while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Ocean Export Coordinator, Ocean Import Coordinator, or similar role.
• Experience in maritime logistics, ocean freight, freight forwarding, or international shipping.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and international trade procedures.
• Experience working with freight management or transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
