Logistics CoordinatorWe're seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of critical medical device products supporting scheduled and urgent surgical procedures. This role operates as the "air traffic controller" for three product linesensuring instrument trays, implants, and related materials are delivered accurately and on time to surgeons. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility position requiring strong communication, proactive planning, and the ability to adapt quickly to last-minute changes.MUST HAVE2+ years of experience in logistics (medical device preferred)Super go getter, organized, doesn't get flustered, can "own" the role + can pivot if high priority orders come inStrong phone + email coordinationNot above helping pick/pack the inventory if needed (less than 10% of the time, most of the role is office work)Ability to build relationships with med device sales reps + couriersExperience coordinating shipments via carriers such as FedEx or similarComfortable working onsite 5 days/week in Durham, NCWillingness to be occasionally available after hours/on-call as neededStrong with technology must learn their ERP, ERP experience highly preferredDAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIESAct as the central coordinator for all logistics across three product lines, ensuring timely delivery of instrument trays and implants for scheduled surgeriesManage and execute shipment planning based on a weekly surgery schedule submitted by the sales teamCoordinate 68 shipments per surgery, including overnight and urgent requestsMonitor and adjust logistics plans in real-time to accommodate last-minute or emergency surgical needsCreate shipping labels, track shipments, and ensure accurate delivery timelinesMaintain consistent communication with sales reps regarding shipment status and delivery expectationsBuild and manage relationships with courier services and dispatch teamsCoordinate with distributors to ensure off-the-shelf products are available as neededHandle inbound calls and emails related to logistics coordination and issue resolutionPhysically assist with preparing shipments (~10% hands‑on: pick, pack, ship)Ensure all materials (including lab samples and implants) are properly prepared and delivered to hospitals or physician officesTroubleshoot delivery issues and proactively resolve delays to avoid impact on surgeries#J-18808-Ljbffr
