Summary: Location: Evadale, TX Duration: 12 Months Responsibilities: Review BTS to resolve shortages. Assist in the execution of the mill physical inventory. Provide shipping with changes in loading priority (loading, priority, hot loads). Enter into the system all dropped trailers, IM, and export containers. Coordinate shuttles between warehouses. Generate Canadian Customs Invoice in SAP. Collaborate with the load center and carriers to resolve issues. Manage the daily yard check. Communicate to the load center what trailers or containers are in reject status and why. File BOL’s and inspection forms. Run the Balance to Ship report during the middle and end of the shift. Maintain data on daily loads and shipments. Check in drivers. Secure rail switch list for morning report. Complete morning report. Report on all chemical cars to Mill Procurement. Log in rail cars. Update rail car log. Ensure adherence to FIFO. Build job lot loads. Monitor demurrage. Handle disputes with the railroad. Copy and save waybills of every chemical car. Monitor and assist Silsbee when railcars are needed. Order the cars from the railroad. Requirements: High School diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent experience. Strong computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in customer service within a logistics department or manufacturing environment.A
