This position supports daily recycling operations by assisting customers, processing transactions, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced industrial environment. Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of cash handling and direct customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
• High School diploma required; college degree preferred
• Basic math, account reconciliation, and data entry skills
• Basic computer knowledge for work-related tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions within an industrial environment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational setting
• Preferred: Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills
Key Responsibilities
• Follow all safety practices and properly use personal protective equipment at all times
• Process customer transactions and obtain required documentation for purchasing and shipping activities
• Complete daily reconciliations and maintain accurate transaction records
• Review documents to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate rail and truck shipments and support logistics activities
• Maintain safety records and operational documentation
• Provide professional customer service and communication support
• Perform administrative and operational duties assigned by management
• Support efficient daily operations within the recycling facility
