Location: Near Hobby Airport, Houston, TX
Pay: $16.50–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM

Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a busy shipping and logistics operation near Hobby Airport.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and transportation arrangements for pickups and deliveries
• Communicate with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure shipments are handled efficiently
• Collect, enter, and maintain accurate shipping and logistics data
• Organize files, shipping documents, and other records
• Provide clerical and administrative support for daily shipping operations
• Spend approximately 65% of the day performing desk/clerical duties
• Spend approximately 35% of the day performing hands-on tasks, including packaging and preparing shipments
• Assist with coordinating the movement and preparation of outgoing shipments
• Maintain an organized and accurate work area

Qualifications

• Previous clerical shipping or logistics experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable handling data collection, filing, and documentation
• Ability to coordinate transportation arrangements for pickups and deliveries
• Comfortable balancing office/desk work with hands-on packaging duties
• Reliable, professional, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
