Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Lewisville, TX
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $18-$20 per hour
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm, on occasion 7:00am – 3:30pm (Works occasional Saturday, especially at end of month); 43 hours avg per week
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the shipping and receiving functions of the Lewisville Warehouse, including preparing and maintaining records and reports.
- Enter data into SAP and locator systems to support timely shipping and receiving operations.
- Support daily shipping and receiving schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and coordinating with internal and external customers.
- Create shipping documents and support outbound shipments by generating and preparing necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with planners to track shortages and assist with inventory control activities.
- Support SAP-related activities such as printing labels, researching discrepancies, and resolving errors.
- Track and report damages, assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment aligned with company policies, and support shop safety programs.
- Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor, including maintaining warehouse records and supporting leadership initiatives.
Requirements - High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-3 years' experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning software (SAP preferred) and warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English and have good math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Ability to develop process expertise for troubleshooting and operational efficiency.
- Excellent attendance record and flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
- Self-motivated with ability to establish effective working relationships.
- Ability to operate forklifts and related equipment as trained.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting up to 100 pounds, climb, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical activities including pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking.
- Willingness to wear a respirator if required.
