As a Logistics Coordinator I, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the transportation and delivery of goods from origin to destination. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure seamless coordination and execution of logistics operations. Coordinate the movement of goods, including scheduling transportation, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery. Maintain detailed shipment records and ensure compliance. Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange pickups and deliveries and resolve any transportation issues. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to transportation and logistics operations. Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, generate reports, and analyze performance metrics. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the supply chain. Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other documentation.
