Summary:

Responsibilities:

Maintain, Organize the Field Lot Operations (35%)

  • Open or close the field as needed; assist with dispatching mobile clinics to the field
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of Community Medicine Fleet and Equipment and communicate with repair vendors to ensure minimal downtime of any fleet vehicle
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all fleet vehicles inside and out
  • Maintain tracking system for scheduled vehicle maintenance
  • Maintain incident tracking database and work with data analyst to summarize information
  • Track appointment compliance and canceled spay/neuter clinics or transport events
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from drivers and medical teams to ensure all fleet and equipment are in working order
  • Monitor supply levels to ensure all vehicles are stocked with necessary supplies & supplies are reordered according to ASPCA processes
  • Track receipts and process expense reports according to ASPCA policy

Perform operational duties including SVA mobile shifts (30%)

  • Transfer fleet vehicles to and from repair shops
  • Perform daily duties at the field lot or cover SVA shifts as needed
  • Ensure all Community Medicine fleet and field lot areas are clean and orderly at all times
  • Assist with secure cash management procedures (if applicable) and protection of ASPCA assets by adhering to all Community Medicine security process

Administrative Duties (15%)

  • Schedule commercial driver's license training and tests for all Community Medicine drivers
  • Generate on-boarding schedules, conduct field lot training, and coordinate peer training as needed for new hires

Suggest improvements in workplace safety and operational efficiency (10%)

  • Model safety procedures and ensure all team members comply with safety protocols established by the ASPCA
  • Address or report all safety hazards promptly

Medical (10%)

  • Perform Senior Veterinarian Assistant duties when needed

Associates, Bachelors, High School Diploma (Required)
