Logistics Coordinator

Halco Lighting Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This position is responsible for coordinating transportation, inventory movement, shipment tracking, and supply chain activities while ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products to customers and distribution partners.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills and be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with warehouse personnel, carriers, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments across multiple locations.
• Schedule freight pickups, deliveries, and transportation services with carriers and logistics providers.
• Track shipments and proactively communicate status updates to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and transportation records.
• Prepare and process bills of lading, shipping documents, freight claims, and other logistics-related paperwork.
• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, delivery issues, and transportation delays.
• Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, customer service, and operations teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor inventory movement and assist with inventory reporting and reconciliation.
• Utilize ERP, inventory management, and transportation systems to manage logistics activities.
• Generate reports and provide updates regarding shipment performance, delivery schedules, and inventory status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and operational procedures.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, distribution, supply chain, or related fields.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with ERP, inventory management, transportation management, or supply chain software preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of freight, shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers.
