    Description

    Logistics Coordinator

    We are seeking a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to support daily warehouse and/or cleanroom operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Norwalk, CT. This role coordinates material handlers, supports operational flow, and works closely with team leads and cross-functional departments to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Pay depends on experience.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate daily logistics and operational activities for assigned shifts
    • Create staffing plans to meet production and operational demands
    • Identify and resolve workflow disruptions, inventory issues, and system errors
    • Communicate priorities to shop floor employees and support junior team members
    • Monitor operational flow and adjust resources to prevent bottlenecks
    • Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
    • Assist with onboarding, training, and development of team members
    • Participate in departmental projects and process improvement efforts
    • Act as backup/delegate for Team Lead when needed
    Qualifications
    • Secondary vocational education Level 3 or 4 preferred
    • Strong experience in logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing operations
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
    • Team-oriented with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
    • Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or operational improvement is a plus
    Work Environment
    • Manufacturing warehouse and/or cleanroom environment
    • Active, hands-on operational role working closely with shop floor teams
