Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to support daily warehouse and/or cleanroom operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Norwalk, CT. This role coordinates material handlers, supports operational flow, and works closely with team leads andcross-functional departments to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Pay depends on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics and operational activities for assigned shifts
- Create staffing plans to meet production and operational demands
- Identify and resolve workflow disruptions, inventory issues, and system errors
- Communicate priorities to shop floor employees and support junior team members
- Monitor operational flow and adjust resources to prevent bottlenecks
- Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with onboarding, training, and development of team members
- Participate in departmental projects and process improvement efforts
- Act as backup/delegate for Team Lead when needed
Qualifications
- Secondary vocational education Level 3 or 4 preferred
- Strong experience in logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing operations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or operational improvement is a plus
Work Environment
- Manufacturing warehouse and/or cleanroom environment
- Active, hands-on operational role working closely with shop floor teams
