Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Logistics Coordinator DATE: 2025

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Non-Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse LOCATION: Ogden Warehouse

JOB PURPOSE:

Oversee shipping office activities per customer specifications.Complete necessary paperwork for shipping. Coordinates raw material receipts with Supply Chain Management office.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Responsible to provide loading instructions to shipping personnel.

• Interpret customer shipping instructions. Prepare and plan shipments which may include daily contact with customers.

• Responsible for intercompany transfers.

• Monitor Truck Driver - Dock assignments and paper work.

• Prepare and process shipping and receiving document. (Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, and Customs Documents)

• Notify customers of shipments and receipts via Fax and e-mail.

• Operate computerized inventory system with hand-held scanners.

• Assist with maintenance of shipping files.

• Process Parcel shipments and receipts. (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.)

• Conduct inventories on Alphia and customer owned inventory.

• Back-up to Inventory / Receiving personnel.

• Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas.

• Responsible for becoming familiar with and following all Good Manufacturing Practices

• Required to notify a supervisor or a lead employee of any situation or observation that may adversely affect food safety and/or quality.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required).

• Education level: high school diploma and/or GED required.

• Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.

• Basic computer skills (email and Excel knowledge required).

• Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals

• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form

• Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner

• Basic math skills to include addition and subtraction

• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to read and follow simple written instructions.
