Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator focuses on inventory management and shipment tracking to ensure product availability while maintaining efficient inventory levels. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

  • Receive, review and process distributor, retail and sample requests accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with processing EDI orders
  • Collaborating with the Accounting department to resolve credit issues
  • Organize daily order transmissions
  • Work closely with warehouses to resolve issues with deliveries
  • Communicate order status and availability to customers promptly and professionally
  • Assists with other projects as assigned
  • Communicate via email daily with the warehouse, distributors and sales/marketing team
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • 2-3 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics BC365 ERP, Inventory Forecasting and Shipcompliant systems a plus
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer skills are a MUST (Microsoft Office)

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Some lifting or physical activity may be necessary

The base compensation range for this job classification is between $50,000 and $60,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is dependent on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history, job-related skills and qualifications, and length of service.
