Logistics Coordinator/Specialist

LHH Recruitment is working with a transportation and logistics services company near Chandler. This organization is looking for a full time logistics coordinator/specialist to join the team. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday. The hourly rate is between $24/hr-$26/hr.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience coordinating and routing shipments across multiple transportation modes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and route shipments across various transportation modes including:

• LTL

• FTL

• Air (commercial and passenger)

• Flatbed

• Parcel

• Dedicated truck

• Schedule pickups and deliveries while ensuring on-time performance

• Communicate with carriers, drivers, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status

• Monitor freight movement and resolve transportation issues proactively

• Maintain accurate shipment records, tracking updates, and transportation documentation

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and transportation regulations

• Work closely with internal departments to support customer and operational needs

• Assist with rate quotes, shipment planning, and logistics coordination

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatching required
• Hands-on experience routing shipments across multiple transportation modes
• Strong understanding of freight operations and shipment coordination
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with transportation management systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
