IDR is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Suwanee, GA. This role involves coordinating inbound shipping processes within a manufacturing and logistics environment, supporting seamless supply chain operations. The position offers a chance to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced setting.
Position Overview for the Logistics Coordinator:
- Coordinate inbound shipping containers with third-party drayage carriers and schedule deliveries with warehouses.
- Collaborate with the demand planning team to prioritize inbound shipments.
- Provide visibility into inbound shipments with warehouse teams.
- Ensure timely receipt and return of inbound containers to avoid financial penalties.
- Analyze inbound flow and divert containers to alternate warehouses as needed.
Requirements for the Logistics Coordinator:
- 3+ years of experience working in an office setting.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Excel skills are especially important.
- Basic SAP experience (preferred).
- Experience working in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and data management skills.
