Day to Day:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day shipment activity, with a heavy focus on coordinating incoming and outgoing truck traffic across multiple sites. This role acts as the central point of contact for drivers, carriers, and site personnel-ensuring loads are scheduled, tracked, and delivered on time.
The coordinator will track the flow of trucks, proactively communicating with drivers and vendors to confirm arrival times, resolve delays, and adjust schedules as needed. They will work closely with site teams to ensure proper staging, unloading, and documentation, while maintaining constant visibility into where shipments are at all times.

Compensation: 22/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
• Experience in logistics, freight coordination, dispatching, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Working knowledge of shipment coordination, vendor/carrier communication, and order or load management.
• Experience using TMS, ERP systems, or dispatching software for tracking orders, shipments, or inventory.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage delays, routing issues, and schedule changes.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal teams, vendors, and carriers.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience supporting project-based shipments, heavy equipment transport, or time-sensitive deliveries.
• Familiarity with freight cost tracking, carrier performance metrics, and rate negotiation.
Experience working in regulated or safety critical environments. Knowledge of contract terms, Incoterms, and basic commercial conditions.
