Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Manage end-to-end shipment activities, including preparing and processing BOLs (including handwritten as needed), invoices, and international paperwork while coordinating inbound and outbound transportation, including expedited shipments.
  • Proactively align shipping schedules with sales and production planning, conduct daily shipment readiness checks, and create shipment placards while working closely with material handlers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Oversee all receiving and shipping operations, including processing UPS/FedEx shipments, unloading and unpacking deliveries, signing and verifying receipts, inspecting for damage and accuracy, and matching shipments to purchase orders before entering data in SAP.
  • Monitor Advance Shipment Notifications (ASNs), troubleshoot rejections and discrepancies, follow up on shipments, adjust orders as needed, and communicate issues with purchasing to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records by processing daily receipts and filing, organizing stock, performing cycle counts, managing secured inventory, and handling returns of incorrect or non-conforming shipments.

 

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Minimum one-year related experience.

  • Arranges inbound & outbound deliveries on time.
  • Ensures all parties have correct communication
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ASN issues
  • Correct printing and placing of shipping labels
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving ability
  • Attention to detail, accuracy of record keeping
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft products

Physical Requirements

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds regularly and 20 pounds occasionally.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle, feel, reach, and grasp. The employee is occasionally required to balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
