This full-time logistics role requires strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on Excel and analytical problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include managing daily inbound/outbound shipments using TMS, updating records on ETA and warehouse dates, and reporting delays or issues impacting costs.
- Negotiating lane rates through bidding software and RFPs.
- Communicating effectively with operations, buying, shippers, and branches to resolve problems.
- Creating and sharing regular reports and prioritizing tasks based on operational impact.
- Addressing systemic issues such as carrier performance and loading/unloading problems.
