Logistics Coordinators' Team Lead

Job Description: The Logistics Coordinator Team Lead supports the Customer Service Team with inquiries from the team and customers about shipments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Handle assigned accounts.
• Assists in monitoring team member workloads and offers support when needed.
• Collaborates with team members to ensure understanding and implementation of work procedures.
• Assists in training and provides support to less experienced team members.
• Assists the manager and supervisor in delegating responsibilities and accounts among team members when needed.
• Offers input for developing and implementing procedures to improve the team’s efficiency.
• Offers input for the development of SOP.
• Serves as a knowledge resource for other team members.
• Act as a backup when team members are out.
• Assist in additional operational tasks as required.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education and Experience:

• A college degree is preferred, not required.
• Previous experience as a Freight Forwarding Customer Service Agent is required.

Requires/ Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required) and Spanish (preferred) for US region. Bilingual preferred for other areas.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Cargo Wise 1.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with a team.
• Ability to create synergy among the team and other departments.
• Strong leadership skills.
