Logistics Customer Service Representative – 3PL Logistics Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support one of our clients largest customer accounts within a third-party logistics (3PL) operation. This is an office-based position that serves as the primary liaison between our customer and internal teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

This role involves a high volume of order entry, documentation, data management, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is comfortable with repetitive tasks, highly organized, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. Please note: This is not a warehouse position. All duties are performed in an office environment.
Key Responsibilities Customer Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a key customer account.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and responsive service.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding inventory, order status, shipping information, and order modifications.
  • Notify customers of any delays, shortages, or changes affecting their orders.
Order Processing & Documentation
  • Accurately enter and process inbound receipts and outbound customer orders through the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Review customer orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate, review, and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
  • Ensure all customer records and transactions are accurately documented and maintained.
Data Entry & Administrative Support
  • Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Update and maintain customer information, order records, and inventory data within company systems.
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets as needed.
  • Follow established procedures and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance.
Issue Resolution & Coordination
  • Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shipment issues, and customer concerns.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to verify inventory levels and process returns when necessary.
  • Escalate issues as needed while maintaining proactive communication with customers.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, logistics, order processing, administrative support, or a warehouse support environment preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory management software is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
