About the Role

We are seeking a Logistics Engineer to design, standardize, and optimize warehouse and production material flow systems within an advanced manufacturing environment. This role will focus on SAP EWM, warehouse engineering, inventory control, lean material flow, and production logistics.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize warehouse layouts, slotting, fixed-bin systems, supermarkets, FIFO flow, point-of-use inventory, and material presentation.

Support SAP EWM/WM/MM warehouse architecture including storage types, bin structures, putaway, picking, replenishment, and inventory transactions.

Develop material flow and replenishment strategies using Kanban, two-bin, min/max, milk-run, and consumption-based systems.

Optimize line-side logistics, production staging, kitting, replenishment, and reverse logistics.

Engineer material handling systems including forklifts, tugger systems, flow racks, and heavy-part handling equipment.

Perform capacity analysis, time studies, spaghetti mapping, value stream mapping, throughput analysis, and material flow optimization.

Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 6S, standardized work, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop SOPs, training materials, standardized work instructions, KPIs, and warehouse audit processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience in warehouse engineering, manufacturing logistics, production logistics, or inventory control within high-volume manufacturing.

Advanced experience with SAP EWM/WM/MM.

Strong knowledge of warehouse slotting, material flow, inventory control, warehouse layout, and lean replenishment systems.

Experience with BOM-driven material staging and production supply systems.

Strong understanding of material handling systems and facility layout engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.

APICS CPIM/CSCP or SAP EWM certification.

Experience with forklifts, Drexel equipment, tugger systems, and warehouse safety.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Salary

The hourly rate for this position is $33 per hour on W2.
