Career Path: Operations Sales

You’ll start in operations to learn the industry, then transition into sales once you’re ready.

Operations Responsibilities

• Match carriers to available freight
• Track shipments from pickup to delivery
• Communicate updates to customers
• Resolve transit issues
• Maintain system accuracy
• Collect delivery documentation

Sales Responsibilities (after training)

• Generate leads and build your own book of business
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers
• Develop long-term client relationships
• Manage freight opportunities from quote to delivery

Compensation Potential (Base + Commission)

Top performers can earn:

• $75,000+ in year one
• $100,000+ with consistent production
• $150,000+ for high performers
