Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist for a contract to hire job with our client in Atlanta, Georgia. The Logistics Operations Specialist will serve as a key contributor in supporting fielding, distribution, and sustainment activities for medical equipment and supplies. Working closely with Government personnel, you will assist with logistics planning, inventory accountability, quality documentation, and readiness monitoring efforts.

Rate Range: $27/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and maintain records related to the storage, distribution, deployment, and accountability of medical supplies and equipment.

• Support quality assurance and quality control initiatives by gathering data, participating in directed inspections, and preparing observations and documentation for Government review.

• Assist with logistics planning activities, including provisioning requirements, acquisition tracking, distribution records, and inventory accountability.

• Perform site assessments as assigned and develop reports outlining logistical requirements, operational considerations, and potential fielding constraints.

• Provide logistical support for the movement, deployment, and distribution of materials while adhering to established policies, procedures, regulations, and Government direction.

• Deliver technical supply and documentation support to ongoing operational and project-related activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience supporting supply chain, logistics, inventory, or material management operations.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to requests from multiple stakeholders and organizations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce accurate documentation and reports.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Demonstrated customer service and relationship-management skills.

• Experience working in a team-oriented service environment, including call center or operations support settings.
