Description
At-a-Glance:
Are you ready to build your career by joining a largest producer of thermoplastic resins and polypropylene? If so, our client is hiring a Logistics Invoice Processing Admin.
Position Type:
- Contract
- Remote – Local to Philadelphia, PA
- 20-hour part-time position, with 4 hours per day, 5 days a week, and a flexible schedule
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in invoice review and processing
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Experience with financial systems like SAP for transaction processing
- SAP experience and strong excel
- Experience handling invoice discrepancies/disputes with vendors
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience reviewing invoices against contracts, rate sheets, POs, and pricing agreements
- Logistics / transportation / freight / Rail experience
- Experience with trucking, import/export, freight, brokerage, or rail invoices
- Bachelor with 2–5+ years or Associate's in accounting and finance with 4+ years of invoice review, processing and validation
- Minimum 3 years' experience with invoice processing
- Manage and process invoices including receipt, verification, and processing
- Validate invoice details, ensure timely payments, and address discrepancies and queries
- Review and process logistics invoices for warehouse, import/export operations, export truck, broker, and FedEx
- Provide rail invoice support and handle additional categories as needed
- Access vendor invoices through a Deployment mailbox and review for accuracy
- Handle discrepancies through disputes with vendor contacts
- Create SAP SES and forward to SES Central for approved payments
- Assist with Rail Freight Matching (RFM) system
- Review and process outstanding records in RFM
- Dispute incorrect invoices on UP website
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience in accounting and finance
- Experience with logistics, transportation, or freight
- Experience with warehouse, trucking, import/export, freight, brokerage, or rail invoices
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience handling invoice discrepancies/disputes with vendors
