Utz Quality Foods is looking for a dependable individual to join our team as a Logistics Loader/Warehouse Person on 2nd shift.
This position will be based in our Tolleson, AZ Warehouse and is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 2PM - 10PM, with some Saturdays as needed.
Key Responsibilities: • Loads trailers with finished product for distribution centers, bins, and distributors. • Reads load sheets to determine the quantity of each product that needs loaded to destinations. • Unloads inbound trailers with purchased products and puts into inventory. • Operates sit-down forklift when loading and unloading. • Maintains integrity of rows and stands of product when pulling or adding to inventory. • Stacks empty pallets and places on conveyor or in a trailer. • Loads and unloads conveyor or trailer as required per warehouse and operates scanning devices. • Assures proper code rotation. • Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position. • Other duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements: • Requires basic math and reading skills. • Knowledge of types and locations of products and truck loading procedures acquired through on-the-job training. • Forklift operators certification to be completed onsite. • Required to wear non-slip shoes with safety toe and appropriate personal protective equipment.
