Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst for a contract opportunity in Fort Bragg, NC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Ability to quickly diagnose issues with equipment and perform repairsunder pressure.
  • Proficiency in using tools for basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Equipment Maintenance & Inspection: Regularly inspect, clean, and repair specialized SAR equipment, including ropes, harnesses, radios, personal protective equipment (PPE), and medical kits to meet safety standards.
  • Vehicle & Specialized Equipment Upkeep: Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles, trailers, ATVs, boats, or snowmobiles, such as checking fluids, tire pressure, and ensuring emergency lighting is functional.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain the SAR station or facility, including cleaning, lighting, heating/HVAC systems, and general repairs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Track and order necessary supplies, parts, and safety gear, ensuring replacements are on hand to prevent downtime.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all gear and facilities comply with safety regulations, such as checking fire alarms, emergency exits, and proper hazardous material storage.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety checks on all equipment and vehicles.
  • Emergency Response Support: Ensure all critical equipment is loaded or ready for deployment immediately upon request.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift heavy rescue gear (often over 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • An accredited high school diploma or equivalent is typical, with specialized training in mechanics or technical maintenance preferred.
