Role Overview The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Ellsworth AFB, SD, Dyess AFB, TX, and Whiteman AFB, MO. The Logistics Management Lead supports B-21 bed-down efforts by coordinating logistics activities related to materiel management, transportation, and maintenance. This role serves as the primary action officer for logistics operations and ensures alignment between installation-level activities and major weapons system deployment requirements. What You’ll Do - Track and report logistics bed-down activities and timelines
- Serve as primary action officer for materiel, transportation, and maintenance efforts
- Develop and publish logistics guidance and priorities
- Prepare briefings, reports, and documentation for leadership
- Coordinate with Wing Plans & Scheduling to align activities with MWS deployments
- Support additional logistics and programmatic requirements as needed
Required Experience - 5+ years of aircraft logistics, maintenance, or sustainment experience
- Experience supporting installation-level or unit-level logistics operations
- Experience coordinating logistics activities across multiple stakeholders or organizations
- Experience tracking actions, timelines, and deliverables in support of operational programs
- Experience preparing reports, briefings, or documentation for leadership
- Familiarity with Air Force logistics processes, planning, and scheduling functions
Preferred Experience - Experience supporting Major Weapons System (MWS) deployments
- Experience working with Wing Plans & Scheduling or similar organizations
- Experience supporting bed-down or large-scale deployment efforts
- Prior experience supporting AFGSC or similar command structures
