Position Overview The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing inbound inventory flow from vendors to Tuckernuck's fulfillment network, ensuring accurate purchase order tracking, clear cross-functional communication, and reliable receipt reconciliation. This role serves as the primary operational liaison between Operations, Buying, Merchandising, Production, and vendor partners to ensure inventory is delivered, received, and reported accurately and on time.

The Logistics Manager manages the day-to-day logistics team and is responsible for monitoring inbound shipments, maintaining purchase order visibility, and communicating any delays or discrepancies that may impact merchandising, marketing, or inventory availability. This role also supports continuous improvement of inbound reporting, vendor returns processes, and operational coordination across teams.

Core Responsibilities Inbound Logistics & Inventory Flow

Monitor and forecast inbound inventory deliveries from third-party vendors, ensuring accurate visibility into shipment timelines and expected warehouse receipts. Oversee the reconciliation of inbound receipts to purchase orders and proactively investigate discrepancies with vendors, the warehouse, and internal teams. Track purchase order shipment status for select, key brands and communicate any timeline changes or risks to the Buying and Merchandising teams. Ensure receiving or shipping delays are clearly communicated across Buying, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and Operations teams.

Reporting & Operational Visibility

Oversee the distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly inbound receiving reports that provide visibility into shipment status, receipts, and potential risks. Share weekly inbound updates with Operations, Buying, Finance, and Planning teams, proactively highlighting delays, discrepancies, or emerging trends. Monitor inbound performance and identify opportunities to improve inventory visibility, reporting accuracy, and operational transparency.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Serve as the primary liaison between Operations and the Buying/Merchandising teams for questions related to inbound shipments, vendor timelines, and inventory flow. Partner with internal teams to ensure inventory availability expectations are aligned with inbound delivery timelines. Escalate operational risks or disruptions that could impact product launches, marketing initiatives, or customer fulfillment.

Vendor Returns & Process Development

Support the testing and operational rollout of vendor return workflows, including swap scenarios and other non-standard return cases. Assist in documenting processes and training internal teams on vendor return procedures and logistics workflows.

Team Leadership

Manage and develop the Logistics team responsible for inbound shipment tracking, purchase order status updates, and inbound reporting. Provide guidance and prioritization for daily logistics operations while ensuring clear accountability for reporting and communication. Support hiring, onboarding, and development of new team members as the logistics function scales with the business.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field 4-6+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, retail operations, or inventory management Experience managing vendor shipments, purchase order tracking, and inbound inventory reconciliation Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to identify operational trends and risks Experience working cross-functionally with Buying, Planning, Finance, and warehouse teams

Compensation Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidates qualifications, skills, and experience. The estimated annual compensation for this role is $80,000-$95,000; classified as full-time exempt and not eligible for overtime.
