Job Summary:
The Logistics & Operations Assistant supports the efficient flow of merchandise across warehouse and retail operations. This role is responsible for coordinating transportation, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining organized warehouse processes.The position works closely with the Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager to ensure timely deliveries, accurate inventory handling, and overall operational efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport merchandise between warehouses, retail locations, and events
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise to ensure safe and accurate transport
• Coordinate delivery schedules to support timely and efficient distribution
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise
• Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and cycle counts
• Prepare merchandise for shipment, transfer, or retail floor placement
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the warehouse
• Monitor and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages
• Support event setups, product transfers, and additional operational needs
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, delivery, or inventory roles preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems preferred
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and special events
Work Environment:
This position operates in both warehouse and transportation settings and may involve driving, lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in varying conditions. The role requires maintaining safety standards while handling merchandise and operating delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment.
