Job Description

Pay: $25.71 per hour (Weekly Pay)

Schedule: E Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Description

As a Logistics Operator Level 5 (Team Lead), you will provide day-to-day leadership for warehouse operations while ensuring materials are delivered safely, accurately, and efficiently to support production. You'll coordinate team activities, monitor inventory movement, assign daily work, and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

This position is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations while ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate material movement.
  • Assign daily work priorities and coordinate team activities to meet production schedules.
  • Transport raw materials and finished goods using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Receive, inspect, store, pick, kit, and deliver materials to production lines.
  • Process warehouse transactions using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
  • Complete forklift inspections prior to operation and report equipment concerns.
  • Ensure warehouse processes are executed according to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and support material replenishment activities.
  • Coordinate shipping documentation, trailer closures, and receiving activities.
  • Support return material processing and inventory balancing.
  • Promote and enforce all LEGO safety policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a role model by demonstrating safe work practices.
  • Confirm accurate system transactions for inventory movement and material supply.
  • Conduct effective shift handoffs to ensure operational continuity.
  • Monitor warehouse equipment, including forklifts, scanners, and radios.
  • Coordinate employee attendance for required safety training, LOTO training, and compliance programs.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse and forklift operating experience.
  • Previous experience leading or directing warehouse employees.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Basic computer and handheld scanner proficiency.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour E Shift schedule (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications.

  • Forklift Certification.
  • 5+ years of warehouse operations experience.
  • 5+ years operating forklifts in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience supporting production through material handling and inventory management.
  • Leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with SAP or similar warehouse management software.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring employees.
  • Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience.
