    Job Description

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Program Integrator Associate to support a diverse range of systems engineering, sustainment, and applied research projects. This position with the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is located at the Hangar-01 facility in Beavercreek, OH and involves assisting in managing complex, high-visibility efforts for a U.S. government customer, requiring strong organizational skills, clear communication, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

    The ideal candidate will possess the ability to understand complex technical projects and assist to align resources for successful execution, lead portions of projects, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with limited and general supervision. They will demonstrate sound problem-solving skills to address program challenges and adapt to evolving customer needs, communicate clearly with stakeholders and provide training and guidance, represent the organization on specific projects and build strong customer relationships to deliver high-value results. Additionally, they will provide contributions to shape and facilitate actionable project plans from ambiguous or evolving requirements, ensuring innovative, high-quality solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and in challenging operational environments.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Co-lead portions of planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent technical projects from initiation to completion.
    •Serve as a main contact point for vendors, internal teams, and management.
    • Monitor and report on project and/or logistics planning, execution, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, milestones and timelines to ensure timely execution of projects.
    •Connect functional teams such as logistics, engineering, and contracting to inform, gain input to support decision making and ensure project goals stay on schedule.
    • Perform process integration to connect workflow steps between suppliers, military organizations, manufacturing sites and IT systems to ensure smooth product delivery.
    •Provide technical training and assistance to project members to facilitate meeting milestone dates.
    • Prepare and/or present leadership briefings, status reports, and process documentation.
    • Identify project bottlenecks and help devise and implement corrective actions to address plan variances.
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    1) Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, engineering, project management or related field.
    2) 3+ years of relevant experience in coordinating and/or managing projects, preferably within a technical environment.
    3) Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders.
    4) Strong organization, basic data analysis, with ability to maintain precise records using databases, spreadsheets, and/or various software tools.
    5) Troubleshoot shipping delays, gaps, supply chain and/or other bottlenecks.
    6) Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment.
    7) Proficiency using Microsoft software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
    8) Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment.
    9) Ability to obtain a security clearance.
    10) Due to requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. Citizen.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

    1) Advanced degree in business administration, logistics, engineering, project management or related field.
    2) 3+ years of US military service or federal civilian service with logistics or maintenance experience, preferably in the Air Force.
    3) CAPM or PMP certification or military equivalent.
    4) Working knowledge of Power BI or related tools.
    5) Knowledge of developing, interpreting, and executing government contracts.
    6) Knowledge of advanced manufacturing and repair technologies.

    7) Ability to understand complex technical projects and assist to align resources for successful execution, lead portions of projects, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with limited and general supervision. 

    8)Demonstrate sound problem-solving skills to address program challenges and adapt to evolving customer needs, communicate clearly with stakeholders and provide training and guidance, represent the organization on specific projects and build strong customer relationships to deliver high-value results. 
    9)Provide contributions to shape and facilitate actionable project plans from ambiguous or evolving requirements, ensuring innovative, high-quality solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and in challenging operational environments.
