Join our team for a 6-12 month internship and gain hands-on experience supporting Foreign Trade Zone initiatives, optimizing processes, and contributing to projects that drive operational excellence.

Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

  • Support LTCS Logistics Process Center with FTZ-related logistics processes, including material admissions, removals, transfers, inventory control, and compliance documentation
  • Assist in mapping current-state vs. future-state processes to align USA warehouse operations with FTZ regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and review of FTZ-related documentation, including CBP procedures manuals, SOPs, work instructions, and recordkeeping requirements
  • Use Logistics Management Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to perform processes root cause analysis and suggest solutions to streamline processes
  • Support the end-to-end FTZ activation project, including planning, execution, and post-go-live stabilization
  • Prepare presentations and executive summaries
  • All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

To make the most of this internship, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • +1 year of professional experience required
  • Internship experience desirable
  • Fluency in English language required
  • German language desirable
  • Knowledge in project management, import/export and/or logistics
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint/Visio
  • Knowledge of various LTCS/LHT systems, such as SAP,ProX,O365 etc. are desirable
  • Excellent use of email, internet, and other computer tools
  • Excellent quality consciousness
