Summary
Our client is seeking a Logistics Risk Analyst to support data-driven risk identification and monitoring across logistics operations. This role focuses on analyzing operational data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to mitigate risk across transportation and fulfillment processes.
This position is ideal for an analytical professional with experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations analytics who is comfortable working with large datasets and translating data into business insights.
The Logistics Risk Analyst will work closely with operations, IT, and cross-functional teams to enhance data quality, monitor performance metrics, and improve system visibility across logistics workflows.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a data-focused logistics team while supporting risk mitigation strategies and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Risk Monitoring
- Analyze logistics data from TMS, WMS, ERP, and claims systems to identify risk patterns and anomalies
- Track trends related to loss, damage, delays, and service failures
- Develop and maintain risk dashboards, KPIs, and early-warning indicators
Reporting & Insights
- Prepare regular risk reports and ad-hoc analyses for management review
- Support root cause analysis using quantitative data and modeling techniques
- Translate data findings into actionable business insights
Process Improvement & Systems Support
- Recommend process improvements based on data analysis
- Partner with IT and operations teams to improve data quality and system integration
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments with data-driven insights
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in logistics analytics, operations analytics, or supply chain data analysis
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, data comparison)
- Experience with data analysis and large dataset handling
- Working knowledge of SQL and BI tools
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau
- Familiarity with TMS/WMS systems and logistics performance metrics
- Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions
- Bilingual Korean (preferred but not required)
