Job Description: Logistics Specialist

The Logistics Specialist at Compass Realty Inc is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of materials, equipment, vendors, and operational resources across real estate properties and projects. This role ensures timely delivery, inventory control, maintenance scheduling, vendor coordination, and operational efficiency to support property management, construction, leasing, and tenant services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate transportation, delivery, and distribution of supplies, furniture, appliances, and maintenance equipment across company properties.
  • Manage vendor scheduling, service appointments, and contractor logistics.
  • Track inventory levels for maintenance materials, office supplies, and property equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, invoices, and service requests.
  • Collaborate with property managers, construction teams, and leasing staff to support operational needs.
  • Monitor and optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
  • Assist with move-ins, move-outs, property staging, and renovation logistics.
  • Handle emergency delivery or operational requests when necessary.
  • Prepare operational and inventory reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of logistics, operations, property management, or facilities coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management or inventory software.
  • Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of real estate operations and maintenance coordination is a plus.
