    Job Description

    Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Logistics Specialist to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies.
     
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage the shipment and receipts of all products, materials, and supplies. This position will be 100% on-site.
    The selected Logistics Specialist Specialist will have responsibility for the following areas: 
    • Collaborate and communicate with colleagues involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
    • Support projects teams by performing varying tasks including mechanical assembly, material prep for welding, machining or painting.
    • Operate forklift and other lifting equipment to safely move material as required.
    • Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Create delivery receipts and packing slips.
    • Engage with vendors, as needed.
    • Transfer materials between facilities utilizing company vehicles
    • Pickup and dropoff materials at various vendors withing a 30-mile radius
    • Maintain a high attention to safety, quality and productivity
    • Perform other duties, as assigned.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
    • Experience operating a forklift.
    • Possess ability to work with your hands and perform tasks independently.
    CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:
    • U.S. Citizenship required.  Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required. Active clearance preferred.
