Work Arrangement: On-SitePosition OverviewThe Load Planner plays a critical role in keeping UniGroup's transportation network running efficiently. In this role, you will plan and dispatch shipments, track orders from origin to delivery, and partner with various stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality service.This is a fast-paced, problem-solving role where you'll balance priorities like capacity, cost, and service to keep operations moving. If you enjoy thinking on your feet, solving logistical challenges, and working with a variety of partners, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on day-to-day operations.What You'll Do
Plan and dispatch shipments to maximize truck capacity and meet delivery timelinesMonitor shipments in transit and quickly resolve issues to keep service on trackCommunicate with agents, drivers, customers, and carriers to coordinate and problem-solveNegotiate with carriers and partners to support cost-effective transportation solutionsTrack performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve service and efficiencyPartner with internal teams to support smooth operations and strong customer outcomes
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferredStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in real timeClear and effective communication skills across a variety of stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
