Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist for a new opportunity with our client, a growing 3PL firm in the Greensboro area. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day shipment activity, delivering responsive service to customers and carriers, maintaining accurate transportation data, and helping achieve service, revenue, and cost-savings objectives.

- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities for assigned customers.
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with customers, carriers, and suppliers.
- Enter, update, and audit shipment information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor shipments and communicate timely status updates to customers and carriers.
- Help resolve transportation issues to support on-time pickup, departure, delivery, and arrival.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and operational requests.
- Provide high-quality support to customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Build productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support revenue, service-level, and cost-savings goals for assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with analytics and operations teams to identify process improvements across customers’ supply chains.
- Apply transportation and supply-chain best practices to develop practical, customer-focused solutions.
- Maintain quality standards and follow established operational procedures.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Background in third-party logistics (3PL), managed transportation, freight brokerage, transportation operations, or a related logistics environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and customer service abilities.
- Experience building relationships with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as internet-based systems and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
- Experience with transportation management systems, shipment tracking tools, or freight audit processes.
- Experience supporting customer accounts in a 3PL, transportation, or supply-chain operations setting.
- Previous experience in business operations, sales operations, or customer-facing logistics support.
