Logistics Management I

Supporting the Office of the Executive Director (T/EX), Bureau of Arms Control and Nonproliferation, by performing operational analysis, administrative support, logistics coordination, asset management, and personnel support functions to enhance organizational effectiveness and productivity.

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated Starting Salary: $89,832.00

Pay commensurate with experience.

Logistics Management I Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform analysis and provide recommendations to Executive Director leadership regarding operational effectiveness and productivity.
  • Evaluate administrative support systems, organizational methods, procedures, records management, communications, documentation, and filing systems.
  • Develop and implement new or modified administrative procedures and methodologies.
  • Conduct management surveys to assess compliance with agency regulations, procedures, and sound management practices.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, developing, and implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Gather information and prepare supporting documentation for requests, projects, initiatives, and special assignments.
  • Provide General Services Office (GSO) support services for T Family bureaus.
  • Support information technology equipment deployment, workstation setup, and related administrative support activities.
  • Collaborate with team leaders on office space management projects, office relocations, renovations, and floor plan development.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative support functions as required.
  • Receive, track, and coordinate delivery of equipment and furniture supporting multiple bureaus.
  • Support annual inventory and asset management activities, including barcoding, scanning, and database entry.
  • Coordinate escort and security support for vendors and construction personnel.
  • Utilize automated administrative systems and Microsoft Office applications to support bureau operations.
  • Process and screen supply requests to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Serve as liaison between vendors and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and reports related to government vehicle usage and associated expenditures.
  • Apply knowledge of government purchase card regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate burn bag collection and transportation activities for designated annex locations.
  • Maintain bureau vehicle records and support vehicle maintenance requirements.
  • Transport staff, materials, mail, parcels, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Logistics Management I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities Requested:

  • Minimum of two (2) years providing executive-level support.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing program and operational analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform analytical work in a professional office environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with Department officials and stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting administrative operations, logistics, inventory control, and asset management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and support special projects and initiatives.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
