ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service & Administrative:
1. Handle high volume of phone calls and emails.
2. Track orders, answer questions about shipments, answer billing questions.
3. Track and maintain specifics related to what is coming in or going out of the company.
4. Keep electronic and/or paper files accurate and up-to-date
5. Track stock and inventory counts.
6. Responsible for scheduling pick-ups and generating and confirming rate forms.
7. Maintain up to date excel file with quotes from existing carriers and their COIs. 8. Responsible for RMI Reports
9. Responsible for, scanning all documents, including GRPOS, naming them accordingly and filing them in their designated folder.
10. Other related duties as assigned by manager.
Outbound / Inbound Shipments:
11. Coordinate pick-up as requested by manager.
12. Examine orders arriving at the dock if needed.
13. Serve as liaison with internal teams, raw material suppliers, clients and freight forwarders.
14. Work with internal management to develop systems to track shipping, distribution, inventory control, and reporting for internal audits.
Brokerage Logistics Domestic
15. Responsible for, generating PO once request is received via-email from shipper.
16. Follow up to ensure proper POD from carriers.
17. Responsible for, completing GRPO after the load has arrived to final consignee.
18. Responsible for, generating an email in form of communication to Shipping & Receiving Dept. and Accounting Dept. indicating the load is complete and the order needs to be closed.
19. Promptly notify supply chain and customer as necessary of any delays, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions to mitigate impact on our service level
20. Assist to match GRPO with supplier’s invoices.
Raw Material Inventory Entry
21. Responsible for completing the PO/GRPO for each load, once trailer of material arrived to Mid-west location and performing the verification of raw material as per Standard Operating Procedure.
22. Responsible for reporting all empty carrier trailers in a daily basis. 23. Responsible for adding the delivery cost in SAP for all tested loads and inform Juarez’s team.
24. Track RMI inventory at all times. 25. Follow up with quarterly internal audits to confirm RMI status.
Consumables Logistics
26. In charge of reviewing and requesting consumable purchases to ensure, corresponding stock level at all times.
27. Monitor inventory, lead times, and update records to keep control of all purchases.
Export Logistics
Be cross-trained at entry level to assist the Logistics Specialist III when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
1-2 years of direct experience as a Logistics Specialist
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and able to problem solve.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
