We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team in Rancho Bernardo, CA. In this role, you will help drive the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of integrated logistics strategies, processes, and tools that support key customer, cost, and schedule objectives.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Support the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from origin through customer delivery, ensuring compliance with standard logistics processes and contract requirements.

+ Assist in planning logistics strategies and establishing standard logistics processes, tools, and databases, including supportability analysis, replenishment, data interchange, and demand management.

+ Coordinate logistics activities for assigned projects (e.g., planning, training, supply chain from manufacturing through support, deployment, freight, warehousing, order management, and customer placement).

+ Identify logistics issues and help develop solutions to moderately complex problems using standard policies and procedures.

+ Support coordination of logistics inputs for project reviews and assist with contract negotiations or modifications affecting logistics scope.

+ Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and perform work safely in accordance with established procedures.

+ Perform other logistics‑related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:


+ Typically requires a bachelor's degree and three or more years of progressive logistics management experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

+ General understanding and practical application of logistics management concepts and principles, with proven skills in organizing, scheduling, and coordinating work to meet project milestones and deadlines.

+ Ability to contribute to the development of new processes and to resolve non‑routine technical issues.

+ Customer‑focused, with the ability to:

+ Identify issues, analyze and interpret data, and develop solutions to a variety of problems, including supply chain activities.

+ Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to accurately document, report, and present findings.

+ Work effectively with others using strong interpersonal skills.

+ Use computer systems and applications proficiently.

+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.

+ Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
