Job Description:Logistics Specialist/LeadLOGISTICS B4-IIFranklin, TNMultiple Opportunities AvailableWe're looking for an individual contributor with recognized skills in a specialized role in the field of Distribution/Transportation.What are we looking for?Minimum* Bachelor's Degree OR* 2 years of relevant experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain* Excellent Verbal Communication* Ability to builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesPreferred* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain* 1-5 years experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain; carrier facing* Knowledge of transportation Management system applications, routing and dispatch softwareWhat will be your key responsibilities?* Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required.* Carry out a range of supplier management activities, either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.* Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.* Help manage clients by carrying out standard activities and providing support to others.* Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area.
