Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate - Staging for Delivery Drivers is responsible for preparing and staging items for delivery drivers in the warehouse. This role involves ensuring that all items are accurately picked, packed, and organized for efficient delivery. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized staging area and assisting with inventory management.

Duties/Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Picking and packing items for delivery according to order specifications.
• Staging items in designated areas for delivery drivers.
• Verifying and documenting staged items against delivery orders and packing lists.
• Communicating with delivery drivers to coordinate pickup schedules.
• Maintaining accurate records of staged items and updating inventory systems.
• Assisting with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Ensuring the staging area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Adhering to safety standards and company policies during staging operations.
• Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year experience in warehouse operations or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with inventory management software and tools.
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to keep client and company matters and information strictly confidential.
• Must have excellent organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and walking in the warehouse.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in various environmental conditions.
