Overview The Logistics Specialist will provide support to the logistics
team, resolve ad-hoc logistics problems, and collect and analyze
transportation data. This position works closely with the lab
operations, clinical operations, commercial operations, manufacturing,
supply chain, warehouse, and distribution teams. The Logistics
Specialist will monitor daily reports from carriers to ensure shipments
are on track to meet expected delivery dates for inbound and outbound
shipments. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the
following: Exercise logistics support through standard practices and
processes. Identify and resolve issues as they arise in logistics.
Provide analysis with logistics tools and metrics. Analyze, interpret,
and implement key performance metrics for logistics partners. Provide
data analysis updates and reports to management in support of tactical
and strategic initiatives. Communicate cross-functionally to
investigate, research, and resolve all exceptions promptly and include
any necessary coordination with other departments. Establish and
implement corrective and preventative actions through continuous
improvement initiatives; including, but not limited to, lead significant
projects on cross-functional teams. Build rapport and maintain effective
working relationships with other departments. Maintain excellent
interdepartmental communication. Ability to lead and participate in a
fast-paced team environment with aggressive deadlines. Ability to
influence without direct authority. Ability to lead and motivate
cross-functional teams. Apply an awareness and appreciation of different
