Logistics Specialist (Night Shift)Phoenix, AZSchedule: Monday – Thursday | 8:00 PM – 6:00 AMPay: $20/hrPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support transportation and logistics operations during overnight hours. This role is responsible for tracking shipments, monitoring deliveries, coordinating with drivers, updating customers, and ensuring accurate load information is maintained throughout the transportation process.This is an in‑office position during overnight hours. The employee will work independently during non‑business hours; however, the building is secured with 24/7 on‑site security.Key ResponsibilitiesEnter and maintain load information within the Freight Optimizer systemTrack shipments and provide status updates to customers, receivers, and account managersMonitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure on‑time performanceCommunicate with drivers to confirm delivery schedules and shipment statusVerify load information and delivery details for accurate processingInvestigate shipment overages, shortages, damages, and complete required documentationSchedule and reschedule delivery appointments as neededAccept or decline loads based on direction from account managersProvide routing information and directions to driversMaintain customer profiles and shipment recordsSupport overall logistics operations to ensure smooth freight movementQualificationsMinimum 1 year of logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain experienceGeneral knowledge of the transportation and freight industryStrong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systemsExcellent communication and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience with transportation management systems (TMS), freight tracking, or logistics softwareExperience preparing reports and maintaining documentationCustomer service or dispatch experienceAbility to interpret and follow written and verbal instructionsPay Details: $20.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
