Logistics Specialist - Santa Ana, CA - Contract - $29-39 Per HR
The position involves coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within departments. Located in Santa Ana, CA, this is a contract role requiring expertise in supply chain and logistics management. Proficiency in generic enterprise resource planning and transportation management systems is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and customers.
- Develop and maintain reports and KPIs to ensure operational excellence.
- Track and resolve shipping errors and streamline existing processes.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Support team projects and communicate effectively with team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or 5 years’ experience in logistics management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening.
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software and other office applications.
- In-depth understanding of logistics industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
